My closing attorney was never contacted and the closing cost increased by $1200 a day before closing!!!!!
Our process was pretty smooth from start to finish. The system to upload and sign docs was great. PMac did a great job at adjusting after we got a better offer from a another firm. We really felt like they wanted us to stay.

I had a pleasant experience. I'm self employed so that was a little complicated but otherwise it went very smoothly
Ms. V. Wayde was great and pleasant. She provided prompt responses when possible due to the current state and her capacity. My main concerns are with the loan officer and his efficiency to return calls. Overall, ok experience. Both were always professional and friendly. Lastly, PennyMac should invest in a better phone answering system or hire additional personnel to assist. Wait times were ridiculous!!!
I understand that the process for refinancing is not simple. I feel that some components could have been explained more clearly (like the mortgage insurance being added later to the total monthly payment) And that certain response times could have been better when calling or emailing the Mac team. Altogether it was a good experience and thankful the we completed the process.
When I replied to emails I never received an answer to my questions stated on the emails
You threw the $17,000 worth of checks on the front porch when we were not home. Couldn't they have been sent directly to BECU? We got the checks, but what a risk!
