The customer service was excellent! From start to finish, the process was professional, timely and an overall satisfying experience.
Justen had nice manners. He made several mistakes: 1. he had Catherine Sarno's name listed as Catherine Samo. 2. It was communicated multiple times that Catherine could not be present at closing and Justen was asked to help find a solution. This did not happen and we had to close twice, wasting valuable time. 3. My mailing address was incorrect with Pennymac - all my physical mail is going to Catherine's address. I have little faith in Pennymac based on these details.
Better communication from closing agent. She was very good the day of closing but prior to that I had to leave several messages for a return call. The supervisor listed on the voice mail was never available; voice mail was full and not taking messages. I was told that someone would go over the paper prior to the closing and I did not see the numbers until the notary arrived. Overall the experience was just okay.
The Mac application website was never updated on time. And our closing was a little confusing as an hour before closing the title company had never received the documents. Although we closed on 12/9 it was just a little frustrating when we take time off work to close. Then PennyMac didn’t even know we closed on 12/9 the website says 12/11 we closed, so the website where the application process was never updated. Just makes it confusing.
Process went very smooth and they worked with my closing date with me having a high risk pregnancy.
Great customer service, the contact person in charge working with my loan was very patient and took the time to take care of all my needs and questions in regards to the process. 5 star service on behalf of Ms. Hagins.

I am not knowledgeable in the loan documents and the terms that are used and everyone that I spoke to was extremely patient with me and took their time to explain what was happening.
