There was some confusion about closing cost credits few days before the closing. Hope it should have been resolved in time. Otherwise every thing went well.
I have worked with Pennymac on three different home mortgages. With each one, they have been consistent and open. I have worked with different mortgage companies over many years but Pennymac has been the best. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly all the time and are incredibly helpful and supportive. I will use them again if need be and would recommend to only obtain a mortgage through Pennymcac.

Sheryl Freeby was very helpful and kind. We had an unusual amount of trouble with the appraisal process but that wasn't the fault of PennyMac. Sheryl was good at pushing things through as quickly as possible. She also didn't mind how we submitted documents as long as she got them.
My employment was verified four times, during one phone call Ms Johnson went from we need to verify your employment to no we do not and then back to we need to verify your employment, the process said Was in a flood plain, ms Johnson said that was an error after I provided survey maps to prove I was not in a 500 year flood plain, the closing date was over a month delayed, throughout the entire process I think I was contacted by six different people. The overall process was terrible.
It has been a pleasure working with the PennyMac refinance team. Terrace and Kristina were great. I will recommend PennyMac to friends looking to refinance.
From beginning with loan rep Ivan who really explained the process of a streamline loan he answered my questions and made feel comfortable with the process. Plus he explained the mac team will be there to assist with the loan process until the loan it's approved
Quick and easy process to refinance. It would have been nice for it to be communicated to us that we needed to have a certified check at closing. Thankfully, the notary called that afternoon to give us a heads up and we were able to get to the bank in time.
