I initially thought the mortgage loan process would take about 90 days, but PennyMac and it's staff ensured a closing time of approximately 30 days, with a very low APR. The entire experience was streamlined, clear, and precise. This was my first refinancing experience and they made the entire process very easy. I will definitely use their services again if needed down the road.

I heard from my loan processor Nick Batten every week to keep me updated. He called me when documents were needed immediately. He helped me understand the process and answered all of my questions without making me feel uncomfortable. I appreciated all of his assistance throughout this whole process. Everyone was very easy and helpful to work with
The underwriter kept asking for the same things again and again. Additionally, there were two different portals to upload documents. You should only have one and request all documents at one time. The underwriter should directly deal with the homeowners especially if the file is too complex. The level of communication and service was terrible. There were too many people involved. I dealt with 6 different people while trying to refinance a loan PennyMac already had.
