They refinance process was done through Pennymac very well. The Mac team and Brittney were excellent to work with. My only complaint is that the Title company dropped the ball when trying to find a lawyer for closing. The lawyer was late to scheduled appointment by 2 hours without a courtesy call. When he did arrive he was un-organized, un-kempt and un-personable. I would suggest cross communication with the title company and more training with their customer service as well.

From beginning to end, and top to bottom of your company, it was a nightmare doing my refi with your company. I've done many refis in the past and never before had such a horrific experience: not providing requested information and supervisor's contact info, not responding to emails, not honoring my request not to work with incompetent loan reps, 30-minute waiting on hold. It's all there in your "recorded" phone calls and emails, but nothing will happen as you have a culture of poor service.

I was happy with the parameters of my load. I got everything I needed out of my refinance. But, the process started in September and did not finish until December. It was extremely stressful trying to manage money not knowing when my refinance was going to finish. I hope to never have to work with PennyMac in the future under this timeline, unless it can be communicated better. You guys did a great job with the loan itself but the stress around the 12 week process was way more than I expected.

We were told that we would not have to pay any money for closing. When the person came to our house we were then told that we would have to pay $161.00 for closing. The person had no details about why we had to pay this cost. He could not provide me with any details about how to pay the closing cost or why we had to even pay this fee $161.00. My husband is a veteran and the last time we refinanced with your company we did not have to pay anything.

I had to redo the process it took about 4months, Kelly was great and Eric too, some of their assistants dropped the ball. The second time through it ran well and Kelly kept me informed.
