The whole refinance process could not have been easier, everyone at Penny Mac is extremely helpful, and quick to answer any questions or concerns about your loan leaving you with the confidence that you made the right choice. Not to mention, they were able to get me the best interest rate than any other financing companies. I will definitely recommend Penny Mac to friends and family. Big thanks to Charisse for answering hundreds of questions and assisting me throughout the process.

PennyMac did not have the correct aounts for our Homeowners Insurance as well as the Real Estate taxes which were due in November. Becuause of this, we had to go back to the loan processor and thell them they were going to under pay our home owners insurance and overpay our real estate taxes. Also, because our refinance was delayed, our homeowner's insurace was not paid on time and our insurance company cancelled our insurance for our home. Horrible experience.

This process took 12+ weeks from when we started submitting documents. What happened to the good old days of FEELING like your lender was working for YOU and your business. After 12 weeks and on the date of our scheduled closing, none of the paper work was ready between pennymac and the title company that you guys recommended. Our notary didnt have any of the docs and had to reschedule. We made it all work last minute with the help of REUBEN BERGER. But Mostly due to our very patient Notary.

Getting closing done in the 60 days. Call (leaving message of doc wanted) or text when docs ate wanted. Web portal not very good at accurately showing the current status of process.

Overall experience wasn't great, but Kelvey's service was. He was following up with me literally on a daily basis, answered questions, and returned emails promptly. My complaint was more on the overall time it took and lack of explanation on the process. We were fortunate enough to get a rate extension, but in my mind, there is no reason the process should have taken as long as it did. We provided docs within ~48 hours of the requests, and the process on the PennyMac side just seemed really slow
