I heard from my loan processor Nick Batten every week to keep me updated. He called me when documents were needed immediately. He helped me understand the process and answered all of my questions without making me feel uncomfortable. I appreciated all of his assistance throughout this whole process. The underwriter kept asking for the same things again and again. Additionally, there were two different portals to upload documents. You should only have one and request all documents at one time. The underwriter should directly deal with the homeowners especially if the file is too complex. The level of communication and service was terrible. There were too many people involved. I dealt with 6 different people while trying to refinance a loan PennyMac already had.

Took longer than I expected and I really didn’t not know why. Various communication with various persons along the way was confusing.
