Brianna was extremely helpful and attentive
Not ripping me off. By trickery and dishonesty, you increased the closing cost and fees to negate all the payments I have made on the loan for my first year. My loan is now $3000 more than when I started, so you stole $11,000 in this process of “reducing my Interest Rate”. I will be making a complaint to the better business bureau and will be voicing my disgust with Penny Mac through social media.
My refi process started with PennyMac in May, and finally closed in December. 7 months to close a standard primary home refinance is unacceptable. Luckily, the interest rates kept dropping during that time which benefited me so I’m not terribly upset about the financial outcome, but the in accuracy of closing disclosures throughout the whole process was unprofessional as well. Even the closing documents I signed have two different amounts for how much I will be receiving back. Grade F.
As a customer who is not familiar with the closing process and calculations, I expected the company to help me understand by breaking down the story behind all the numbers and their calculation. Even after several and repeated sessions, I couldn't get the details i was expecting to help me move to the next step. Combine this with the length of time it tool for each cycle of request and response multiplied my displeasure with the process and the company. Review my email comms for more details.
Barbara was a pleasure to work with. There were a lot of errors made during the application and loan process - and I received documents for closing with my husbands name misspelled multiple times. Although I did not have a great experience with my loan originator, Barb made up for it! Excellent service and so kind.
My experience with PennyMac was excellent!! Vartan Davtyan was who started the loan, with excellency! I truly enjoyed my experience with him. Great communication with Barbara Fernandez who helped me the most thru the loan process. Truly loved Barbara’s character! And Natasha Guerrero help bring an enjoyable simple closing.
Service was great. Closing was sooner than I expected.
I got what I wanted.
