PennyMac did not follow through with the subordination of existing loans. There was no communication between team. I changed assistant loan managers and it was not communicated or followed up on. Our closing date passed with PennyMac failing to communicate there was an issue. Getting the loan documented required me to get on a call with Hermes and OnPoint as well as continuous calls and escalation. You should be paying me.

Penney Mac did a great job we got a little nervous before we closed on some issues but both Xavier & RyanTang were awesome. It was nice to have the notary come to us since my husband is not well & we appreciated the smooth closing.

I usually do not complete these types of surveys; however, my refinancing process was very unpleasant. Things started well; however, there was a mistake made on my original Closing Disclosure. The original closing date was moved, but little communication was taking place. I had to continuously reach out to Ms. Arnold for updates and clarification. She needs more training on phone etiquette and the loan application process. I am happy with the final outcome, but not with the process.

The loan officer’s communication was non existent. He told us to expect an experience that was not provided. We were grateful for Mario as a contact. He was responsive, patient, and kind. It seemed like what he saw and what we saw on the portal was very different and that was frustrating. We learned not to look at the portal at all. Closing took 8 weeks (PennyMac to PennyMac loan) and the CDs were inaccurate.

The process took months longer than expected. Jennifer was good, but could have communicated more offer without us having to send repeated messages so we did not feel “out of the loop” as much as we did.
