poor communication subpar service
The process was very, very long and tedious. At times it took days before I heard back from a pennymac representative.
I had a lot of issues with getting the correct legal description but once Barbara took over it was a breeze. She was on top of everything and was amazing to work with. She definitely turned my experience into a positive one.
Aida was an abysmal LO. She was often rude, crude, brash, and unhelpful. Every question I asked was met with "That is not in my scope of work so I cannot answer that question." when I know for a fact they are. As someone who also works in the loan industry, I could not imagine treating my customers the way Aida treated me. This was unfortunate due to the fact Taylor and Orlando were great. I would recommend Aida be put in a position with far less human interaction, with far less responsibility.
Raven had excellent communication up until the end. When I received my final closing documents, I had some questions. I sent Raven a total of three emails and never received a response. I even sent Adejumoke Dosunmu an email, and copied Raven, stating that she had not responded. Adejumoke Dosunmu immediately responded to me and stated that he would have Reven followup with me. Yet, I never have received a response for Raven. She was MIA.
Our loan servicing agent changed mid process and from then on communication was lacking. The agent that took over messed up the closing process and our original attempt to close was cancelled and we had to hear about it from the notary. Only one attempt from a PennyMac rep was made about that and when trying to reach out no one answered. While we still closed on time, it made the whole experience negative.
