I had the worst experience until I started working with Jelani Keller all the pennymac reps told me they could not do a loan for me. This loan took about 4 months to close and that’s I unacceptable. Then I had to email about 5 times to request a closing date. Finally I requested to pay done my rate 4 days before closing and I was told they would make the change and I would have to pay $1100 for the rate but down and that did not happen. So over all I feel pennymac reps are dishonest. Not pleased
Better communication, one point of contact, better response time, contact information provided, a working and user-friendly portal, accurate documents, the list goes on and on- honestly one of the worst experiences with a business ever and very scary considering the large amount of money involved.
I was told I would get a discount, I don’t think I ever received. I was also told I would get money back if it didn’t close as (when it was supposed to) planned and I don’t think I ever got that.

Overall great experience with my refinance . Closing took longer than expected but Kami Weber and her team worked really hard through the process to get me refinance at a great rate
Great service great prompt communication. Small delay in closing but this was due to the title company needing additional documentation. I was told my closing cost would not change because the delay in closing due to the missing document but I did have to pay additional costs that I was told I would not need to.
The team was very helpful and understood the importance of getting everything done on time.
The entire process was easy, my point of contact was easily accessible and very helpful.
