I was expecting a 2 month delay on my first payment. The document from the notary came a week after I was scheduled without any call or explanation. I call your offitto ask about that and never got a call back.
Everything went smooth and as expected. The total closing cost was a little surprising..
Elizabeth Jennings was GREAT and was available anytime I had a question. I highly recommend Pennymac to anyone who needs a home loan or to refinance. The refinance went smoothly and quickly.
Had to provide multiple documents twice. From one point I told them acknowledge receipt of everything I sent them. I didn't think I could provide a bank statement showing earnest money withdraw so I said I could get a signed memo from the bank. Was told that should work, however I was able to get statement but still asked for the memo that I recommended. Lastly, I changed my insurance about 3 weeks prior to closing and let them know, they never gave to title Co and closing docs were wrong.
Ceista Johnson did a great job! My original closing date was 8 of October 2020, sadly it took PennyMac over 90 days to close on my refinance. Also, for no reason pennymac was keep changing my loan officer one after another until Ceista Johnson. She made things happened!! I believe their names were Marquest and Pashe. I recommend to assign one loan officer to customer so everything goes smooth and quick. And this is the main reason why I am grading your over all service at the average line.
This was one of the easiest refinance ever. It was over before I realized it. With Covid, you would think things would be slower and more difficult. But the opposite was true from beginning to end.
Better communication and prompt communication between and from Jericha. As the refinance process moved forward it got to a point she just flat out ignored our emails and calls. There was a tremendous lack of communication and miscommunication between documents needed. We ended up having to contact a VP out the issues. Overall we are not happy with the whole process.
Having someone to be able to reach out to at all times. I understand the times we are in, but getting someone on the phone when needed was difficult. My Mac Team should be listed with phone numbers and individual emails.
My experience with PennyMac was exceptional due to Kelly’s outstanding service and diligence. She did an excellent job responding quickly and accurately. Kelly Lange is by far the best loan officer I have ever dealt with, she deserves recognition and appreciation by your company.
