Communications and requests were clear. Everyone was responsive to our questions. The closing itself was very efficient. I would have liked a few more updates along the way as our timeline ran long (due to COVID and record-low rates), just to reassure us we were still in the queue and everything was still locked in. Otherwise, everything was very smooth and easy!
I always got prompt replies to my emails and calls, customer service was excellent in that aspect; however, I did not always get definitive answers, or explanations to my questions to help me fully understand the process and calculation of the dollar figures on the loan documents. No one could ever explain anything beyond “the system generated these numbers”. I wanted to understand the math behind numbers. I requested the numbers to be run for multiple situations, but never received any info.
Even through connection issues my loan officer made sure all the information they were giving was understood and made my refinance process very easy.
