My experience was great overall. With being a first time home owner and going through my first refinance process they communicated everything professionally and made sure I understood what to expect along the process. They really made it a painless process and I would recommend Pennymac to anyone that is in search of buying or refinancing. Its very nice to call and get a hold of a person rather trying to navigate an animated phonecall.

The loan closed, but funding took 3 weeks. Email and calls were made more than once within the time and no one would call back. Very poor customer service on all levels.
Everyone was looking out for my better interest and very friendly and available to talk to explain things to me and answer my many questions. Very smooth process. Thank you so much!
It was a good experience and will be better with quick turn time. authorized third party should instantly carryover at initial boarding of loan. This will definitely be an excellent service if this can be done on future loans.
