Overall, my experience was great!
My experience through the refinance process was excellent. I had never done it before and I had a lot of questions throughout it. Ceista Johnson was excellent to work with. All my questions and concerns were addressed immediately. She honestly made the whole process painless and it was a pleasure to work with her. She is second to none in my opinion. I have recently told several people about my experience and they too are now refinancing their mortgage with PennyMac.
My interaction with Patrick Peavy was most of my communication about my loan but he was not able to correct the problems I was having without reaching out to someone else. My process took 3 months and I had 3 closing dates before the paperwork was correct. Communication within your company is poor. I went with you for my refinance because I was an existing customer and I thought it would be a quicker process.

This refinance process through Pennymac was very easy and stress free. They had a set time frame and even with a couple issues on the appraisal, the loan approved within the time frame.
When I called with questions, they looked into it before calling me back so that they knew what was happening with my account.

Mariely updated me regularly on the status of my loan application. Often she would call me just to say that the application process was progressing normally, which gave some reassurance that all was well. The deadlines that she provided were consistently either met or exceeded.
