Kami herself was very kind and knowledgeable when I did speak to her, but I feel like there were huge gaps in communication. My emails would go without response. It would take a couple days to receive a call back if I called. Documentation expired. I'd get requests for new documentation without explanation. I understand that we're in a pandemic and everyone is busy, but it shouldn't have taken 7 months to refinance without clear information being shared as to what was going on.
The process of establishing the refinance was basically flawless and effortless. We found what was needed and the process taken care of within a few days. The loan was transferred to from the loan officer to the Processing we were not able to get her on the phone unless we called from different numbers all of the numbers given went to a voicemail she said was broken. She did not return calls or emails and we could get no one else on the phone. There was no one we could speak to other than her.
Not requesting the same documents over and over.

Regina was great I would say she and Chris were The best contacts there. Otherwise I got no help and was told the person who had my loan was not there anymore. Could not get any answers about anything tell Regina got my loan. My thanks goes out to Regina and Chris.
Communication and reply’s to emails were not replied to timely or went unanswered. Once we completed application process the person we worked with never replied to questions we had and other emails took days if we received a response at all. Asked a number of times the status of our refi and never received a response. The process took a lot longer than expected. Otherwise, being Penny Mac customers previously before the refi we’ve been extremely happy.
Better communication and loan status throughout process. Promises made by loan officer not followed through by processor, don’t ask for documents over and over again after already provided multiple times. Estimate was told would be highest, but was actually 3,000 more.
1) Too long from 8/11 to 10/30, ridiculous because we were refinancing with Penny Mac previous loan. 2) Loan processor never prepared, long delays in answering questions. 3) Mistakes made which delayed everything and changed numbers dramatically.
