There was a lot of miscommunication between the closure date and the closure statement that needed to be signed by my wife which was sent to her email, and when she tried to go to her email to sign it, the system instead took her to another window option that asked her questions as if she was the one trying to do a refinance loan. We also got a phone call that our closing was going to be on the 10/30th/2020 when the appointment for the closing was already scheduled on 10/23rd/2020.
Brandon was amazing!!!!!! Coming from someone who was nervous coming in to this process as a first timer refinancing and not the best when it comes to financing terms, Brandon couldn't have made me feel more comfortable and assured throughout the process. I couldn't thank him enough for all his help. Give this man a raise!!!!
Patrick Peavy was very responsive and helpful. Though, beyond Patrick, it was difficult to get answers to questions and/or a status of where I was in the process. There were times when days would go by without receiving responses to emailed questions. I found it less than ideal to email the MyMac Team alias because I wasn't sure anyone was actually reading those emails. Similarly, I found the PennyMac 1-888 # useless. You never spoke to an actual person and always had to leave a message.
My closing documents were different than the documents I Esigned
I talked to a person about the closing documents and that the figures were off. A representative told me they were correct and then the very morning I was to sign I found out the amounts were not correct and it delayed my closing 5 days. Not very professional. I still do not know if it was done correctly.
Even though the process took longer than expected refinancing my home was managed well. Constant communication helped ease my concerns throughout the entire process.
Nathan Hoffman was excellent walking me thru the process. He was a great help with keeping everything in order. Answered all my questions and eased all my worries. Great job!!
The entire process was very easy. Each representative was thorough and patient. Drew stayed in constant communication with me to make sure I knew what was going to happen next. My questions were answered quickly. If/when I purchase another property I will use PennyMac's services again.
