The VA refi by PennyMac on our home was by far the easiest and most pleasant loan experiences we have ever encountered, and we've done a fair number of refi's over our lifetimes. Everyone involved in the process were at the top of their game.

Well, I would have preferred the lender to fight for their client to negotiate costs which favor the buyer. Instead, the lender tried to find ways to raise the value of the home in process of purchase. The lending agent did follow up with my attempts to contact her as soon as possible. PennyMac had some good qualities but I have to say that the process was not smooth throughout.
Refinancing process and timelines were quick and painless. The mortgage team at PennyMac were exceptional.
