The process went very well. The only negative is the fact that, beginning the almost immediately after the credit check was run, the deluge of spam calls began. I am aware you have no control over it but it was a big part of the experience.

Some of the worst customer service! I sold my home over a year ago and was still receiving calls about mortgage protection. come to find out PennyMac was still giving out my contact info even after I was no longer a client! You have lost a customer for life, Vets don't take kindly to breaches of trust or security!

Every emailed question I had was answered within minutes by Michael Payne or anyone else on team. The start of the refinancing seemed extensive but it was very easy and the way the portal was setup made it even easier.
