Very easy process
Bridgette was very open and handled all my question completely and accurately. I had zero issues during the process.
Unfortunately the loan officer failed to notice that the contracted appraisal was not done on time. I brought up the deficiency a week before closing. It then took almost a week to get the appraisal and another week to complete closing. Pennymac even failed to meet its own deadline extension. Instead of empathy the lender told me “it’s not my fault”. When I continually requested updates I got a lot of “I sent someone an email” which, considering the circumstances, was not proactive enough.
This was the least painful financial transaction I have ever been a part of. Each of the PennyMac agents that were part of my refinance were courteous, personable, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
