William Hang was an excellent advisor and made the loan process smooth and clear. Once I was transferred to the MAC team, though, I felt that the level of support was slightly slower and less knowledgeable.

Back and forth on appraisal, lack of communication. At closing the agent was supposed to be here at 8 am but did not receive documents until 6 pm. I felt like I had to do a lot of leg work communication wise with the company. Overall, not a great experience.

This was by far the worst process I have ever had to deal with in my entire life. Buying a new home would have been easier than the refinancing process we were taken through and the level of support we did not receive. This process was dragged on and completely forgotten for almost 5 months. I had to start checking in every week after we realized we were making no progress and that was in the 4th month. It took forever to get this elevated to a supervisor. No one seemed to care.

Regina was very helpful through the entire process and was very honest with timeframes and setting proper expectations. She reached out to us weekly to communicate the status of our loan to let us know what to expect next. She was also very prompt in all of her responses to us and was always friendly. I know that her work level is at an all time high right now due to rates but she never seemed to be bothered by my calls and always took the time to speak with me about any concerns. Thank you!

From starting out Derrick was a huge help. And finishing off Nichole was a huge support. Information was there when needed and I had communication as needed. This is a hars time for anything in the world. Adaptation is what we all strive for in this new age. I appreciate the help i received and will continue to use Pennymac for any future loan experiences. thank you for your help. Nichole deserves a raise!

I was impressed with the entire team and all of my in-person communications were great. I was not impressed, however, with the electronic interface system. It was often unclear what was going on with documents and the navigation was clunky. In the end everything was fine but the electronic interface needs to be improved/updated.

We started in July, we had to always follow up but then days before any one would call back. It really has been a great company up until this time getting it to close. It has cost us extra money in the long run and now our credit score shows it and it wouldn’t have if you all had completed this loan in a timely matter. Maybe in September. As of today October 29,2020 still no money or information on what has really happened. Very sad.
