Our loan was processed within 2 weeks. Kimberly and the gentleman that worked with us are excellent. Quick, efficient, kind and caring customer service. Thank you Penny Mac for the quick service and excellent employees.
Better communication.
Customer service and constant communication is how they sold me. 15 minutes later after i received the initial documents, I had sent an email to himonly to receive a covid19 response that emails could take days for answers, and calls were answered by someone different. 3 weeks later Hilda told me we'd be in contact once a week. "Contact" was a 8 second voicemail not addressing any of the questions id had, and it was 9-12 days, not 7. Shocked i received request for survey. 2x.
The process took months longer because a basic document was requested from the appraisal company. That was ready days after the request was submitted. However; It was not communicated and no one followed up. By the time your agents received the document everything had expired. A new appraisal, Credit report, income document and title was needed. We basically had to start from the beginning. Which made the process take a lot longer than necessary. Started in June and closed in October..
Kelsey Meuser was AWESOME!!! From our 1st conversation, she was pleasant, friendly & clear in her communication. Throughout the process, even AFTER closing, she has been responsive to my needs & questions. Her demeanor was consistently pleasant & professional even with the few hiccups we had. She really made my refinance experience smooth & easy. I had some hesitation at 1st with refinancing with PennyMac given past experiences, but in I am so glad I did! Thank you Kelsey & PennyMac!
Very clear and straightforward process with clear instructions and great service help
My experience with Brent was great so I adjusted this Survey for him and only him. Separately, PennyMac has some serious work to do on execution of Refinances. This survey is not how I truly feel about my experience with PennyMac it only reflects my appreciation for Brent.
Overall for me it was an OKAY process. Thanks to PennyMac. There were inaccurate information that was relayed to me. Information that are confusing and was never explained well. I feel answers were generic. The response time was slow. There was a miscommunication between the application loan officer and the Mac Team about pulling my credit with the 3 credit bureau.
