We were told we needed a witness to be at our closing in addition to my spouse and I. Asked a family member to attend, which was a big inconvenience. Only to be told by the notary that we did not need a witness and it was a waste for them to be here. Our notary was late to the closing, however they did text and communicate they were running late. 10 minutes before they arrived, notary requested a copy of our drivers licenses. This was the first time anyone said to have these prepared.
We closed on our refinance loan in 3 weeks. Very fast and smooth process. I highly recommend pennymac for all your mortgage needs. Don't want to use anyone else.
