This loan process took longer than expected but completely understand it was due to COVID-19 and the number of other customers wanting to also take advantage of the new lower interest rates. Blen was very pleasant to work with and empathetic to my slight frustrations on the delays. She served a good sounding board and provided very detailed status’ of my case. As always, I’m very pleased working with the staff of PennyMAC.

The entire team was professional, friendly, and came across as vested in our success. The process was smooth, the portal made it easy to see what was needed from us and to upload required documentation. I would definitely use PennyMac again.

The loan processing agent was the only person that was helpful and attentive. The original loan officer messed up my documentation and was slow to respond (listing me as single when I submitted the application as married) the subsequent loan officer or some other persons messed up my closing amounts and delayed closing by a couple of weeks, and caused alot of undue stress trying to untangle the mess. Blem A’s profesionalism/customer service dedication was exemplary and exceeded expectations.

knowing my closing cost I thought it was under $2000 and it was above $3000 also don't know how much was applied to escrow

It was very difficult to get answers from our original agent. The closing took close to three months and documents requests continually changed. For example, I specifically asked up front if a condo questionnaire was needed as was told no. Then a long form was requested a few months in. We closed our HELOC to get lender credits yet getting them placed on the closing disclosure as promised required me to call at least a dozen times.
