It was quick and easy, and the PennyMac employees were friendly and knowledgeable.
Speaking with the first representative was a pleasure. Once my information was handed off to the next person communication seemed to drop off some. Something else that was not pleasant was this. When PennyMac discusses escrow monies a thing to consider is when the due date is and how much a persons insurance payment is. That deducts from the amount you get if any. I thought I was getting one thing and received another. That could have been bought up, discussed and made clear.
overall quick and great service
So fast to refi our loan. Seriously. I called on Oct. 1. Three weeks later our new loan was funded. Great rate and we’ll save so much over the life of the loan.
Organization of the office could be better. Some things were overlooked and should not have been. A holiday should not cause delay in closing. The holiday should have been already planned in the process. Informing us two days prior to closing of delay shows lack in organization.
Had to micro manage whole process to make closing. LEs were consistently inaccurate or flat out wrong.
An overall good experience from start to finish. They made the refinancing process as seamless as possible.
I emailed the customer support email I was given and no one responded. I left a voicemail to a number I was given in an email. And no one called me back.

Mr Jason Stevens gave a very good explanation about the closing cost estimate that was perfect Mr Eliud Rodriguez l can tell you... he is fantastic processor, very Profecional all the answers was by the book, very accurate in the information that given. (I wish l had dedicated Profecional in my comp) I had good experience w/Mr Jason & Mr Eliud also Choi.
