I would have to send multiple emails to get answers . My middle name still wasn't right, just like the first closing.
Overall, the experience went as expected since this is not my first loan with Penny Mac. While the overall experience went smoothly and I appreciate my loan officers dedication, the closing got delayed twice with little or no information on what was going on. As I was deployed with the military, this made communication much more difficult. Also, due to the delays, the closing numbers changed enough that it caused me pause which resulted in another discussion on how the numbers changed and why
There were only two saving grace when working with PENNYMAC. Kami was awesome and she made the whole horrible experience a bit bearable. She needs to be recognized for putting up with my frustration. First, the portal suck. It doesn't updated after I uploaded the documents. I didn't get any confirmation if the document was acceptable or not. I don't know when the closing date until I called Kami. I would never recommend PennyMac to another living soul. There are many choices and NEVER Pen

I had exceptional service from Kelsey. She was always cheerful, pleasant and helpful in emails and phone calls. I would not hesitate to recommend Pennymac and especially Kelsey!
During this ReFi process I was blown away by the speed and service of PennyMac. I only had 1 issue. Jessie Corral said I would not be paying the approximate $1500.00 fee to Fairfax County VA to re-title my loan; since it was a ReFi. So, I told him to add the cost to the value of the loan making it $615K vice the $613.5K as originally quoted. Jessie told me the next level of service would subtract out that amount and make the loan the original amount $613.5K. This never happened. HELP?
The whole loan process was very smooth and Cesar is on top of his game thank you for the wonderful experience. Richard Arcand
