The process took a long time and that is only the complaint I have. The support/follow-up I received from Hermes Mejia was excellent.

It was unacceptable how the cash to close changed so drastically upwards until I complained, and it magically went down again. Also, the cash to close/closing disclosures were never sent to me every time it updated. We had to reschedule 4-5 times for the closing because of the cash to close rising in error by a ridiculous more than twice the amount, and then because of the backwards process of date/time scheduling for closing.

Once I transitioned from Derek to Glenn, the communication was poor. I asked Glenn a few questions regarding my old loan versus the new loan and he didnt have an answer. My old loan type was FHA or USDA versus the new loan type shows conventional. Glenn didnt know what FHA nor USDA was in order to tell me the difference. Also, I asked about the MCC credit that was on my last loan to ensure it was on the new loan as well. He referred me to servicing.

I had a question during the process that never got answered and also had to call multiple times to get an answer on another question.

It was just a horrible experience. Very poor communication. Closing date kept getting pushed back. They kept asking for documents we already sent its like no one knows what the other is doing. After 3 months we just said forget it and went with a different company. Very poor customer service
