Awesome experience all the way around with the exception of how close, "closing" was to underwriting. Literally we went through underwriting 1 1/2 days before a 9am closing. That cuts it way to close for customers to not stress over.
There were several items that needed corrected at the last minute it should have been caught earlier in the process but overall everything went very well
went well. saved money on interest from previous loan.
Nicolas Hagan at Pennymac were very helpful and was always ready and available to answer any questions we had, I truly appreciate him making this process as easy and stress-free as possible. Very thankful for everything he and others did for at Pennymac for our refinance.
the actual refinance day was frustrating. we had set a time but then later changed it & it was changed days before the appointment (was at 3 & moved to 5) but this info was never changed w/the guy who was doing the closing. & we were told we could use a personal check and we couldn't so then we had to run around the next morning to get a bank check, which we had planned on getting before we were told we could use a personal check.
Penny Mac associates were very friendly and efficient during my loan refinance process.
Kristen, and the whole staff at PennyMac did a great job in processing our loan experience. We had a change to our application 1 week before closing. Kristen went out if her way to make sure we could close on time Would highly recommend PennyMsc to anyone wishing to buy a home.
