From the beginning of the initial message inquiry I completed for refinancing to the approval and closing, I felt that I was the only client , Nickolas knew me by name when I called and let me know I was very important to penny Mac. Having communication as if we We’re in person Was awesome and I never left my house. Thanks so much and I have already pass the referral to several people. I have purchase three houses in my lifetime but this was the best experience ever.
It would really be helpful that documents you e signed and sent, that you be notified by email or text that they were received and correct. Communication through phone is like playing phone tag, getting through is almost impossible, a dedicated extension would have been helpful, the use of telcos like the doctors now use would have simpflied the process immensely.
It was fast and easy.
The communications between the PennyMac folks and me was dreadful. Several times I sent emails explaining my schedule and receiving ZERO feedback. While preparing to close I missed a call and was asked to call back. The number I received was a generic number that simply put me into phone hold hell. I had no options to leave a message or otherwise quickly reach anyone on the team. Within the team they did not seem to be on top of my emails either. We were lucky to close as quickly as we did.
I personally feel that it was not so much Mr. Bloods fault or anyone I personally talked to. The crazy atmosphere that this pandemic has put everyone in, and out of the offices, and working from home ,and the problems this has caused . I was required to do far more documentation than any other lender would require. And I was already with PennyMac.. Also this was not my first time around finance. I spent 34 years in the banking world, I retired from that world 30 years ago. Les Seibert
