The whole process and website are very well implemented. The whole staff are very prompt to response to my requests. The loan was closed in time and the numbers are exactly like it was estimated - I pay $0 cash and the monthly payment is very close to the first estimate. This is a very pleasant experience. Brent Kapaun was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable with regard to his handling of my refinance process. I had to submit the same documents a couple of times, but Brent would always call me to let me know that the documents were received, and everything was in order. I appreciate Brent's assistance throughout the refinance process.
Simple process done very quickly and very good service
What made it great was that it was easy to do. We only needed a few documents and the rest was just waiting on the closing date.

Was able to reach an agreed upon deal.
There was confusion on the company used for closing which caused us to wait for one company only to be informed after calling that there was a mixup and the closing had to be rescheduled. Also, we were sent three copies of the closing document for esignature due to errors in the documentation.
I never got answers to emails. I could not upload documents to portal. Had to send via email and they never confirmed receipt. Had to send documents multiple times because he did not put on the portal. The worst experience ever. I still don’t know how my credit cards are being paid off. What happens to the difference because the balances are less. Plus the monthly payment was more than what was on the closing disclosure! I can’t wait to get away from Pennymac!
Jason was very helpful called every couple of days keep me in the loop on what was going on throughout this last loan refinance process it was the fastest ever and everyone was great all the way to the person that came out to do the notary thank you Penny Mac
