Delays due to credit review...I already had a loan with you and it should not have taken 6 weeks to get through the review with a 800+ credit score.

The issues were mostly caused by Covid -19. Questions and replies were delayed because of the fact that it had to go through several steps to get to the correct person and then for them to reply back. Because of these delays documents weren't sent to the person needing them and they were requesting them again when already sent. This caused the loan not to process when we were told and had to pay 2 more loan payments that they advised we wouldn't have to in the beginning.

Rob was great. Other people who joined in during the process, another Rob or Robert and James I believe, were requesting a document several times after I had already submitted following the request from Rob. I called both people back immediately and left voicemails stating that i had already provided the information and that i was now anxious over the repeat requests and worried my application was compromised. Neither returned my call leaving me uneasy about the process.

I found it difficult to reach anyone by telephone when I had questions. I left voice mail messages multiple times, but did not receive responses to most of them and received no responses to questions I emailed. We actually considered going with a different lender because we were not receiving follow up to our calls.

A closing date was selected and then an hour before closing, the notary called to say he didn't have the loan documents from PennyMac. No one from PennyMac called me. For the next three weeks I followed up but never got an email or call back. Finally, three or four weeks after I was supposed to close I got a random call about setting up a new date for closing. Jordan had no clue why I couldn't close that day and offered no apology for not following up on the status.
