It was quick & easy. Mr Mejia updated me every week how my loan process stands & giving me a heads up whats next & when to close. And we close even earlier than the expected closing date. Also making it more convenient & safe in the middle of pandemic. Thank you so much for the job well done Mr Hermes Mejia. God bless us all.
Had a great experience with the PennyMac team that handled my loan they went above and beyond Was always informed and updated could not ask for a better experience
Better communication. I received mixed messages and emails that weren't in complete sentences so I thought they were spam. It was very confusing and it took days for anyone to get back to me. It made me uncomfortable dealing with Penny Mac at the beginning.
Bridget answered all of our questions and was there every step of the process! We were pleased to have her on our side while refinancing our home!
The initial sales rep Eddie Machuca was great he answered all my questions returned my calls immediately after a phone message or email however MAC Team Specialist Hermes Mejia was unresponsive bad customer service. I would have to call him several times and even reached out to his manager to get him to return my calls. My loan closing documents had errors which caused rescheduling and same documents came back with errors. He needs more training in customer service and made my experience
Not the greatest communication. I've refinanced with PennyMac before, and this time was not only confusing, but took twice to get the figures right, and twice to sign. The lady that came to our house for the signing was very polite and professional.
The refinance portal is great for uploading documents, but why is there a Loan Status tab that doesn't provide a Loan Status? Your phone system needs work, there was always a 2 second delay when speaking to Juan. I don't think it should have taken over a month to approve a couple whose lowest credit score was over 810. Also, I made it clear I wanted all closing costs rolled into the loan, but received a disclosure with out-of-pocket closing costs and had to get that redone.
The service was efficient, great, and easy to understand.
