I was told by someone that within 3 years the refi would pay for itself. That was total BS because my monthly bill only changed by about $ 37.00. $37.00 x 36 (months) = $1,332.00 now you tell me how that totals anywhere near the almost $13,000 that was paid.
The system was easy the process could not be more pleasant. I would recommend you to a friend.

Andrew was Avery attentive and responded quickly to all correspondence. Initial contact (sorry forgot his name) when discussing possibility of refinance had excellent customer service skills.

When the Penny Mac loan agents had questions and items of their own to be taken care of, they were very efficient, however when I had some questions the process and the answers came slowly or I was sent to another person.
Communication was poor or non-existent. Time frame was constantly moving back. Every interaction was frustrating or unpleasant. I constantly wished that someone else would take over and process my loan.
