We were frustrated by phone trees that went in circles, requests over and over for the same documents, always working with a different person and the time it took. The rate lock expired and the rate had gone down, however when we requested the lower rate, we were given the runaround and finally gave up. We just wanted it over. Ravenna was the most helpful and professional person we worked with. Nina was very frustrating and seemed very overwhelmed.
We were told in the beginning that at time of closing we would basically be paying our house payment as the closing costs. Well, when the time came to close we had already made our house payment for the month (Sept 2020) and we were told closing costs were going to be approx $1,400 on top of what we already paid for our house payment. We called and emailed asking for clarification prior to closing, with no response. The whole experience was great until that part.
Easy process. No frills/no hidden costs. Everything that was explained on day 1 was the same at closing. ONLY thing that needs to be improved is communication. A couple of hiccups there, but nothing that derailed me or the process. Appreciate the team that assisted us.

I felt that I had to constantly pull information instead of it being pushed to me or questions/documents being asked of from me. I received the appraisal report almost 3 weeks after it was conducted. After communicating my closing date MULTIPLE times, I arrived at the attorney to find out the closing package was not sent to them. When trying to contact ANYONE I was pushed to voicemail over & over, or an unserviced line. EXTREMELY stressful & unprofessional. WILL NOT RECOMMEND.
