My main issue is not getting a direct email or phone number to contact my specialist. It was easier to wait for her to call me. I had issues signing a document because it locked up. I missed the instructions on what code to use to unlock the document. Not Lauren's fault. She couldn't unlock it and in the end we just didn't unlock it. It ended up being a non-issue but overall, in my whole experience with the process, I didn't think it was "great."

Great experience from start to finish. Each representative I worked with from PennyMac was very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They truly made the refinancing process a breeze.

Overall I’m happy we did the refinance, but before the closing, there were some last minute changes that I wish had been handled differently.

Making sure your returning customer's get the best rate possible and if not advise them on how to get the best rate by waiting and improving their chances later.

Some of my documents were not accurate. My initial loan disclosure document had a payment of something like $17K. That type of error seems like something that can easily be fixed but for some reason it could not be fixed until a loan officer is assigned? I had to call about this a few times. I also asked if a certified or cashiers check was needed prior to closing and was told no. However the loan closing almost didn't happen because a certified/cashiers check or wire transfer IS required.
