Mr. Lusk was great he stayed in constant communication with me and when issues did occur with title company he was quick to resolve them. He made my experience with a complex process very reassuring and not a burden. I am very pleased with all his answers and going the extra mile to help us with refinancing our loan. What would have made my experience better with PennyMac better. COMMUNICATION! During the loan application process I was told I a member of my MacTeam would contact me weekly with a status update, this rarely if ever happened. Frequently a member of the MacTeam would contact me requesting documents that had already been uploaded to the portal. I found my loan processor to be completely unreachable by telephone and he infrequently responded to emails.
Tristan, Jordan, and the team were Amazing! They were always polite and respectful, no matter how frustrated i may have been. They explained the process well so it was not confusing at all. They all deserve a raise!
Many, many issues throughout. Feel free to give me a call and I will explain. Far too much to type here. Very, very disappointed. Never recommend PennyMac EVER again.

I couldn't believe how straightforward and easy the whole process was.
The communicate was not good. I found myself sending many emails and making many calls to try and find out information on the refinancing application and closing process. The PennyMac application portal was absolutely terrible and repeatedly sent emails to me about missing documents. I asked many times what these were, but no one had an idea. The closing date was rescheduled three times and almost zero communicate provided to me. The title company and notary service was just as confused.
The explanation of the process was great. It was easy to contact the team with my questions
The whole process was quick, easy, and professional. I appreciated all the calls and when questions were asked they were answered within 24 hours. The closing process was quick and easy with the closing being at our house. Which is very helpful with two young children around around.
