There was ZERO sense of urgency during the whole process. There were huge gaps in communication where days and weeks would go by without hearing anything. If my wife or I did not call directly, nothing would have ever gotten done. This was not only an awful experience, but a completely unnecessary one. None of this should have happened. I would never recommend PennyMac to anyone.

Communication was poor. We did not like that we received checks for unsecured debt and did not ask for 10 day pay offs. The amounts were not accurate anymore. We would have preferred direct payment to creditors and there were no account numbers on the checks so the creditors know where to credit the checks to.

I always got voicemail when I called, there were several occasions where I had to call back after leaving voicemails or emails, 3-7 days after leaving voicemails or sending emails, I was asked to send over home insurance declaration 3 times, my closing was rescheduled due to an issue out of my control, I was very unsatisfied with the overall experience. Lack of communication and the ability to contact someone directly was my biggest issue

Communication from loan officer I had to call them every week. I feel like they were holding on my application for a while then had the nerve to tell me I had to September mortgage cause it wasn't going to close til 8th. When I raised hell about that and brought up the fact I was a Black woman that I feel you were taking their time but all of a sudden it close on the 27th of August.

Raven was prompt n answered all my questions but there was a guy who was covering for Raven one of the days who was rude n undermined my intelligence, maybe he hearing my accent took me for an illiterate. His customer service was below poor n for him I wld hv taken my mortgage elsewhere, but as I said I was working with Raven n she was excellent so I held on for her to come back n continue with her. I wld recommend Raven KIdd anytime. Thanks to her. Jennifer Amonoo-Harrison
