Too many different contacts. Too long a process asked for same docs repeated times poor communication until Buchanan got involved Just a refi of existing penny Mac loan. Took far too long and disjointed. Really bad experience

The whole process of refinancing my mortgage was handled by your staff in a very professional and friendly manner. All my questions, no matter how simple or naive they were, was answered in a very respectful way. I felt the your staff will help me anyway they can to have my loan approved. This gives me confidence to have PennyMac as my home mortgage company for my long term home. Thanks to everyone that helped me. Very good people!
This is not Nichole's fault. The breakdown of the process into depts allows the people in those isolated silos to not take responsibility for the process. Their communication with Nichole as "project manager" was likewise silo-ed. As a result, those depts were not providing accurate info on where they were at in the process to buy more time because they were overloaded. So you have a processing agent with the responsibility for getting it done but no real control over the process.

Initial staff I spoke with were professional and followed through as expected. However, Glenn was terrible at following through... I felt I had to chase after him to make sure he communicated with the closer and the title company. Admittedly, my closing situation was complicated by the fact that my husband was not initially available to sign the documents as he had been deployed to a fight CA fires for an unknown amount of days. I offered days/ timeframes that he could be available to sign as th
