Our refinance experience was quick and painless! Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and courteous!
paper work got lost a few times, or expired to many times. Too many people handle the paper work. Andrew did his best to pass along the paper work. If Pennymac can't get the info from mortgage holder ask the homeowner if they can get the info from mortgage holder. Big problem you have is WAY TO MANY PENNYMAC EMPLOYEES, HANDLE THE PAPER WORK. Our loan refi took 85 days to complete, part was due to Wells Fargo, part was due to underwriter needing same info , I sent just days before.
The company did right by my wife and I. There were discrepancies here and there but things were taken care of swiftly and accurately. Overall good experience.
We had requested to not pay anything at closing, and were told that it would not be a problem. At closing, the very abrupt and moody lady who came to our house, very rudely said she needed me to make a copy of our ID's, not even asking if we had a way to make the copies! Then she said we needed to pay her $38.87. I told her what our specific request had been, and she said we would have to take it up with Penny Mac. I will likely not refinance in future...it's just too frustrating.
Nancy was very professional and polite to work with. Answered my calls in a very timely manner. Very pleasant to work with.
Pennymac offered me the best refi rate and costs, beating other offers as they were our original lender. Faiza was Very helpful to work with and did weekly calls or emails to update on the process and timeline as we went along. Due to covid things were a little slower and we closed a few days later than originally planned but it all went through without an issue.
Hilda was great, she answered all my questions and got back to me quickly. I thought that this process was going to be painful but Hilda and the rest of the PennyMac team made it so easy. Thank you so much for all your help!
