The beginning of the process there was quick responses to my questions; appraisal, and different scenarios of mortgage amount. Towards the middle the same documents were requested 3 times and uploaded to the Esign portal 3 times. It was frustrating getting the same automated email. Towards the end of the refinancing after all documents were received the process went smoothly and fast. I was pleased with the results and satisfied with saving $300 a month on my mortgage. Thank you!
I was disappoint to be charge point for closing. I was discourage to lower payment with points, however I was charge high closing. I tried to email, call prior to signing documents with no follow up with team.
Process took longer than expected to close. Multiple emails on documents needed , which were unclear. Called Hermes and always got VM.

My original Mortgage was with Penny Mac. I have always paid my mortgage on time. I thought I would do my refi with my own mortgage co. I did a FHA streamline it was supposed to be quick and easy. Application completed may 5th didn't close till Aug 14th. I thought I wouldn't be charged or if so the fees would be lower. Not true had to bring cash to close. I lost more than I gained in my refi and all Penny Mac cared about was making money off of me. I feel taking advantage of. Will File a compl
Molly was responsive and always answered any questions. The loan didn't close as fast as we had hoped, but it wasn't due to PennyMac, it was just a product of the times with record number of mortgages and refinances happening and the volume of work being done nationwide. The refinance process was super easy.
I was asked to provide the same document multiple times after I supplied it the first time it was requested. Also, received an email from a different individual requesting that document as well even after I submitted it. I would have liked an outlined email detailing who the final closing costs needed to be payable to and correct amount as both were different in the closing disclosures. I also sent an email to have a call as i had a question before my closing and never received a response.
