Experience was good. Hilda did a great job once we got moving on things. At first the process was difficult with the documents requested several times.
Loan officer who sold us the refinance did not explain any details re: closing costs, points, lender fee, etc. (with the exception of "I read you a disclosure that said all your costs would be rolled into the loan"). The closing statements were the first time we saw those details. As first time conventional loan borrowers I wish we had been given a more clear explanation of what we would be paying (even if it rolls into the loan). Hilda K provided excellent communication!
Our Loan Officer - Bailey Greene was outstanding right from the get-go, and he continued to engage when asked and when needed. Unfortunately, our original Loan Processor - Michael Peterson was clueless, and seemingly at every turn failed miserably to handle our loan processing. FORTUNATELY Sandra Benavidez was assigned to our loan and she honestly saved the day! She did her job conscientiously, and with integrity. She was a pleasure to work with! Bravo Sandra & Bailey!!

Liem was very difficult to deal with and often seemed to not understand or care about my questions and concerns. He told me that by paying off a specific credit card one week before closing would get me a better rate. After paying $1400 to pay off the card he told me he was wrong and that he couldn’t do anything. The entire point of refinancing for me and my family was to save money but instead we ended up paying off a card that was not pressing on our finances at all. EXTREMELY disappointed!
PennyMac was my previous lender. The process was smooth, took around 6 weeks. Customer Service is consistently superior. Natasha was very pleasant, professional and efficient.
Customer service on original refinance was awful. No communication and messed up my loan. John was great to work with.
