Convenient online application to start the process, online document signing, and helpful loan processors to guide us along the way. We've previously refinanced before PennyMac, but this was the smoothest so far.

Maranda was a SHINING Star in this process! We were delayed because of the extreme amount of loans PennyMac is handling. We were doing refi's on 3 properties and documents were being requested multiple times on the same property....not on Maranda as she tried to get the team to look for documents in all three files if they could not find it in the one they were working on. She was patient and understanding, even when she knew I was getting frustrated with the process. She gets a gold STAR!!

The process started out good with Thomas but once it left his hands there was little to no communication. There was no direct phone connection to the MAC team. Messages were left without response to the point that we had to contact Thomas to find out what was going on. We received an email that was not meant for us. We had to submit our credit check twice due to no fault of ours. We were told we were going to sign documents at the end of June and we didn’t sign until the end of July. We were

Several times I was requested the same documents. At closing day , there was a mistake in one of the documents, where it was stating that my loan was for a second home, and the only property I own is this condo. Called , send emails and never received a confirmation about the document discrepancy or someone to call me and explain the error.
