Jordan was great and very responsive. Adam Key should have been more responsive to my questions after closing. Also his contact number isnt available and incorrect on emails/paperwork.
Refi was quick. Mariely was great to work with.
Process was very easy - only complaints would be you need better phone lines because they tend to be garbled. Also, original closing was cancelled by title and we were never notified.
to remove the complications of duplicate request of forms, explain the process in complete details with written follow up. Most of your agents were very knowledgeable and professional but due to corona, when you called in you would give a different agent who had no clue what I was talking about. Kristen was awesome but my phone calls were not transferred but referred to someone else.
The communication and delay at close was aweful.
Communication was less than poor: emails and voice messages were not returned in a timely fashion. Our closing documents were 29 hours late!! Perpetual request for the same documents occurred several times per week. Every time, they were resubmitted within one hour of the request. She did not communicate with her coworker that prepared our application. Her misinformation nearly lost us the house we wanted to buy. This is our fourth mortgage in four years, 12th overall. We know to expect better!
My issue frankly was with the paper work not being updated immediately when I negotiated a different deal with PennyMac. I was told I had to sign paperwork that was not reflective of the deal. The paperwork was updated at the end but I am still not 100% convinced it reflects the deal that I negotiated. The site was also terrible, if you upload a document there should be some visual that it has been uploaded...a check a complete or something.
I would like for PennyMac to be more specific on how my closing money was allocated. It seems to me I paid a late charge fee during closing, since I was told I didn't have to pay for July because my loan was closing in July. I saw a $ 42.00 late fee charge in the account on July 17th, the day the money was disbursed. I also saw fees being paid for $ 29.00 and $17.50 the day of the closing. Those late fees should be reimbursed to me. I should not be paying late fees.
