The loan process team answer all the questions I needed
With rates so low the husband and I felt it was a good time to refinance so I made a call to PennyMac from start to finish it was very smooth and fast. I had 1 request for document DD214 which was a army discharge form and the notary CAME to our home to complete the final step of the loan. I’ve never experienced such a SMOOTH process! If it weren't for Hilda, I probably would have let this refinance go. PennyMac made the mistake of overlooking the documents and not seeing the payoff quote to my home equity line. This delayed my loan closing by almost 2 months! I went passed my lock date because this document was overlooked. After every request for a payoff quote, PennyMac did not follow up with me whether or not they received it. I even had to reschedule closing dates on the day of my initial closing.
I was very pleased with the overall process. I thought it would be difficult and long but, it wasn't. Each time I talked with Aimee Mack and Tony Tsiligian they were professional and very helpful.
Only hiccup I seen was the closing department did not send the closing documents to the title company. That delayed the process by a week. The closing department also didn't communicate that back to Belinda.

Process was way longer than originally promised. Confusion over appraisal, closing docs and money back from escrow.
Great and attentive service all the way throughout the process.
