The overall experience was amazing from submitting my application to closing. Mrs. Norma explained and walked me through whole process. Thank you so much for all your help!
On more than one occasion the same document was requested more than once and even after knowing the documents had been received I would get contacted for the same document again.
Closing numbers were never the same as described. When I questioned the numbers it took several days for an answer and I had to call and email to finally receive an answer which caused a delay which changed the closing costs again. I was told no cash to close from the beginning until it was time to close then I was told I need cash to close. I questioned this which was corrected but only by increasing my loan amount. I was already a customer of Penny Mac so it should have been a simple refi
Communication with Beth was great! The fact that our loan application process was lost and/or forgotten for three weeks putting us behind and delaying our closing was the biggest problem. I am thankful that Beth was an advocate for us but this has been the worst home buying experience for my wife and myself. We will never use PennyMac for any banking service again and I will never recommend them to anyone. In fact I will advocate for anyone I know or meet to take their business somewhere else!

Marquisha Thompkins was a TEN- PERFECT :) If it was not for her i would have went to another mortgage co. PennyMac took for EVER and i understand C-19! But PennyMac (5/1/20 to 7/15/20) to simply refinance a with no money involved and they were my original mortgager! They already had my information! Then, i had to inform PennyMac that the specialist that was assigned to me, no longer worked for them, my paper work stood still for 3weeks, UNACCEPTABLE! Marquisha Thompkins IS GREAT! Thank you!
Refinance process with PennyMac worked great! All the people involved in this process were always polite, gave accurate information, and worked to make it efficient. I recommend PennyMac to anyone considering refinancing of their home loan.
