For the most part, the experience was positive. My loan officer was communicative at the beginning. The assigned MAC team member was difficult to reach. While I understand the convenience of having one point of contact, it became a hindrance when I needed to reach someone urgently on the day of closing. It ended up causing undue stress and making the closing experience unpleasant. Additionally, the titling company did not receive accurate information, which in turn led to unneeded contact.

I refinanced with Penny Mac because of my previous experience with them. I was very satisfied in the way they serviced my previous mortgage loan. Their refi process was was very coordinated and easy. Thank you Penny Mac Loan team.

I would receive emails I did not understand and ask for clarification and never hear back. It would have been better if my agent called for communication instead of copy pasting emails and never responding to my questions. It would have been much better if my agent rescheduled closing BEFORE my notary appointment when the documents were not ready in time.

The refinance process was painless & easy. The standard documents were requested to be submitted. The signing process was quick and someone came to my house to complete it. My only recommendation would be to keep customers updated on their loan process a little more often. I went weeks without knowing where I was with completing my loan process. I submitted the application in May and closed in July the day before my rate lock ended. I was rushed to submit documents in order to close in time.
