Norma and Sarkis did a great job with the refi process but when I called customer service to have someone go over the closing documents with me so I was clear on the information, the woman was very rude, disrespectful, and I had to ask her 3 times to open my closing documents to help me fully understand the numbers and then hung up on me mid sentence when I was asking my final question.

Will and Mona were amazing! They are very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend! I have streamlined 3 times to receive lower interest and I have always used Penny Mac. I wouldn't use any other company, they are simply the best!
As a longtime PennyMac customer, the service met my expectations. It was quick and almost hassle free.
I am a PennyMac homestead customer who just re-financed my home. took over 90 days despite a promise of 30. I got a late pay and late fees on my previously perfect payment history. He had no idea that I was using my own title company despite sharing that with Edith and multiple times with Nicholas. He did not send me the HUD in the required timeline prior to closing. I cannot recommend Nicholas. 2 other properties awaiting info at 1801 S 8th and 325 Fairway; PLEASE NOT NICHOLAS
friendly and accurate transactions. A few things were asked for multiple times but that was expected. Fairly easy process and straight forward.
It was hard getting ahold of someone. They would always call me while I was at work even though I explained to them my work schedule and when I tried calling back I would always get an answering machine it took 2 weeks to set up a closing date. The notary that was used was very unprofessional. My closing date was rescheduled 3 times and my wife had to use vacation time to be there
There were several issues throughout the process, first was the request for documentation, I had submitted everything twice. Second was the request for flood insurance, despite pennymac years back being the ones that zoned me as not needing it. Third was the closing notary call, which happened twice and still was unable to get the correct address. Finally the closing documents, I signed three separate closing documents. None of them were correct and there was a difference of 300% in closing cost
Smooth process and to the point requests. Avoidance of redundant documentation requests and too many redo's. Mariely, kept me up to date frequently.
