Everything went fine
The loan process was clearly and accurately described to me. I was kept informed at all stages of the process. Deadlines were met and questions answered promptly.
If I had realized how expensive my closing costs were going to be , I would have taken the extra steps in paperwork that I didn’t need with PennyMac and I would have gone with a local credit union. I paid twice as much for half the work. In my opinion. Too expensive. Despite the good experience with PennyMac, I feel I was charged California rates for a east coast situation. Happy with the service, disappointed with the amount of money on closing costs.

Denny was great to work with. For unexplained reasons, the closing was cancelled when the notary was in our house for signing. Also, there was an approximately $370 fee due at closing when we were told there was going to be approximately $370 due to us at signing ... over a $600 swing.
Everything went very smoothly. Only delay was due to all this COVID-19 stuff.
