Lack of communication amongst yourself. There were several times through out the process where I was asked the same thing by multiple people. Documents were submitted not once, not twice, but three times in a few cases. The right hand had no idea what the left hand was doing. It was a frustrating experience because of the lack of communication within your organization. Ill give you benefit of doubt due to COVID because my experience was bad. Yall gotta do better.
The process was lengthy. I had to provide documents more than once. It felt redundent.
I had to call and email a couple times to get questions answered, but it only took one call or one email to have my specific question about the process answered. Even if it's automated, it would be nice to have a call about what to expect for closing since Pennymac is an all online process. The title/notary didn't confirm that they were coming 24 hours prior which made me nervous. Also when you go to title office and if money is supposed to transfer they take your bank information.
The refinance team I worked with at PennyMac was exceptional. I received all documents very quickly, and time from application to close was much shorter than anticipated. Everything was able to be completed around my schedule, and the mobile notary made signing final loan documents very simple.
Communication was excellent.
Anna was on top of everything. We were kept in the loop and helped every step of the way. Best customer service that I have ever had!
Anna was great to work with. PennyMac however has unrealistic expectations and will not be utilizing in future. Anna understood my frustrations through the process but PennyMac had her hands tied.
