I felt entire process took to long because the existing loan was with Penny Mac, I would like thank loan specialists Jeff and Nicole for their outstanding support through out the entire process.
Quick and easy service all considering the current situation with covid-19. The process was fluid without any obstacles (besides time due to the pandemic) and communication was a breeze.
Emeldo was terrible with communication. I would get an email stating something and then request to speak with him and not hear back for days. Also, I had a cashier's check ready for closing and got an email at 11:45pm the night before my 8:00am notary appointment that the closing amount had changed. How was I supposed to respond to that? Overall, I feel as though I ended up having to produce more out of pocket money than I was told and was not given answers. Unacceptable.
I would recommend PM to anyone.

It seems to me, since I was a client prior to refinancing, I thought it would be quicker and smoother. Just because my income changed was not a reason for how long it took. I was tried of hearing there is a pandemic going on! In my opinion, I was with PennyMac for 6 years paying more than the loan per month required I would have thought it would have been a much better experience, but I was wrong. It took way to long and Old Republic was a joke in this process. Should have pay off the loan.
The whole process was so simple. Everyone I worked with was happy to help and easy to get a hold of, if I had any questions.

The process could have been smoother if we were given a list up front of items or documents needed. Every time I submitted a document along cane another request. Obscure documents from over 10 years ago were requested and after spending over 8 hours on the phone without being able to acquire them, Pennymac said ok well if you can’t come up with that then send us an email letting us know. Um, what! So obviously the document requested was not important after all to the loan process.
